I think my interest in wholesale imprinted pens probably goes back to when I was a young boy and my father used to suggest giving a package of inexpensive ballpoint pens as a gift whenever I was invited to somebody's birthday party. Now, years later, gift pens are still a thoughtful and useful way for just about any business to promote itself for not only attracting new customers but to strengthen their relationship with the ones they already have.
When I speak of personalized pens, what I am referring to are inexpensive ballpoint pens that are customized by the supplier with the logo or name and address, phone number, website URL, etc. of the company that will be giving their corporate pens away.
It would be a rare individual indeed who could not use an extra pen, whether it is a ballpoint with a fine or medium point, and whether or not is uses black or blue ink, they are still profoundly useful for writing down little notes to yourself of what to do or for what to pickup at the grocery store.
We have found that promotional pens are available in quantities of as low at 25 for the higher priced ones, but the cheaper ballpoints, especially if they are stick pens and not the retractable kind, can be had for less than 50-cents each and therefore make excellent premiums for even the smallest business to give away to help build up their good will. They are much simpler and less expensive than imprinted t shirts, which you have to worry about sizes and take up a lot more storage room.
